Winter 2019 Schedule
Monday & Wednesday 10:00 - 11:30 AM Gentle Yoga
This class is perfect for baby boomers, active seniors and anyone wanting a gentler,
slower paced class. We'll work the entire body, developing strength and flexibility
throughout. We also do many range-of-motion movements to keep the joints
supple. Jane's classes will spend time each week working on balance, and Erin
spends more time on detailed alignment and posture. Jane teaches Wednesday
and Erin teaches Monday. $8.00 drop-in.
Mondays & Wednesday 5:30 - 7:00 PM Beginning & Advanced Beginning
In this class we'll work on learning safe alignment of a wide variety of yoga poses,
building strength, flexibility, balance and body awareness. This class is designed for
beginners as well as more experienced practitioners. The emphasis will be on
foundational poses, and while we will not do difficult poses that are inappropriate
for beginners, there will be enough challenge to benefit stronger practitioners.
$10.00 drop-in.
Friday 9:00 - 10:30 AM Advanced Beginning & Intermediate
In these classes we'll work on learning proper alignment of a wide variety of yoga
poses that help build strength, flexibility, balance and body awareness throughout the
body. We'll also work on building a strong foundation to prepare the practitioner for
inverted poses like shoulderstand and headstand. The class builds on itself and is
designed for beginners as well as more advanced practitioners, and will be tailored
to meet the needs of the students. $10 drop-in.
